Installing the Facebook Pixel in your Shopify Store in 2025

Installing your Facebook Pixel on your Shopify can seem slightly confusing at first. Thankfully, both Facebook and Shopify have made this process fairly easily.

The Facebook Pixel is a short snippet of code that allows you to track the activity on your website, what we would call in other words, conversion events (this user viewed this page, added this product to cart, or purchased).

1. Select "Sales channels" on the left of your Shopify dashboard

2. Type in "Facebook" and select the "Facebook & Instagram" sales channel.

3. Install the "Facebook & Instagram" sales channel app.

4. Once, installed follow the instructions to "Connect account"

 

5. Select "Get started" and follow the steps

6. Make sure to turn on "Share turn" (which is what will connect your Facebook Pixel) and we recommend sharing "Maximum"

7. Submit for review!
